Notre Dame junior winger Austin Wuthrich of Anchorage enjoyed himself tonight -- he scored two goals, including the third-period tying goal that kick-started the Irish rally from a 3-2 deficit and helped them to a 6-3 nonconference win over Lake Superior State.

Wuthrich's two goals give him 4-5--9 totals in 22 games this season. In 91 career games, he owns 16-19--35 totals.

Notre Dame senior goalie Steve Summerhays of Anchorage made 18 saves. He's 11-7-1 with a 1.96 and .925, plus a career high-tying four bagels.

Oh, and Notre Dame's Mario Lucia -- hey, he was born in Fairbanks, so The Blog will claim him for this entry -- had a goal and a helper tonight to give him 11-8--19 totals in 22 games this season and 23-19--42 totals in 54 career games.
