NAHL report: Shocker (OK, it's not), Fairbanks won

Posted by DOYLE WOODY, on January 18, 2014

The Fairbanks Ice Dogs just keep rolling.

Tonight, they rallied for three third-period goals and a 3-1 home-ice win over the Wenatchee Wild to improve to 29-12-0 atop the Midwest Division, where they own a 10-point lead on Coulee Region.

Duggine Lagone, UAA recruit Wyatt Ege and Colton Wolter (short-handed) furnished the goals. Ege's was his first of the season, so, stick salute. Kevin Aldridge made 19 saves.

Fairbanks' .707 winning percentage is second in the league, bowing only to Amarillo's .732.
