All you very young hockey players who want to showcase your sick skills may want to circle Saturday on the calendar -- that's when the UAA Hockey Alumni Association has scheduled its Youth Skills Competition.

The event is open to boys in the mites, squirts and pee wees age divisions, and to girls in the 14U/12U, 10U and 8U divisions.

Registration is 12:30-1:25 p.m. with competition set for 1:30-3:30 P.M. (Enter at the security entrance on the west side of the building, down the stairs just to the right of the box office entrance).

Full gear is required. Entry fee is $10 per payer, plus each player gets a free Skills Competition T-shirt and a ticket to that night's Northern Michigan-UAA hockey game.

There will be awards for skaters and goaltenders in all divisions.
