Spurs' Leonard out 3-4 weeks

San Antonio, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Antonio Spurs will have to deal with another injury to a key player, as the club announced Thursday that forward Kawhi Leonard will miss a minimum of three weeks with a non-displaced fracture of the fourth metacarpal of his right hand.

Leonard sustained the injury during the first half of Wednesday's 111-105 loss to Oklahoma City, with a CAT scan performed Thursday confirming the break.

The Spurs are currently playing without two other core members, center Tiago Splitter and guard Danny Green. Splitter is expected to be sidelined until February with a sprained right shoulder he incurred earlier this month, while Green broke the index finger on his left hand on Jan. 13 and has a four-week timetable for recovery.

Leonard has started 40 games for the Southwest Division-leading Spurs this season and has averaged 11.6 points and 6.1 rebounds.
