Wine of the week: 2010 Painted Wolf Pinotage

January 23, 2014

Drink wine and save wildlife. Can you do that? Well, yes you can, if you buy a bottle of 2010 Painted Wolf Pinotage. A portion of each sale goes to save the endangered African wild dog known in South Africa as a Painted Wolf. Pinotage is a rich, bold red wine. This one is an outstanding example. Dark and dense, the wine has rich black fruits and lovely textures. Superior quality for the money, costs about $20.
