Anchorage's Ryan Cole is killing it for D-III Trinity

Posted by DOYLE WOODY, on January 24, 2014

Trinity College freshman center Ryan Cole of Anchorage is absolutely lighting it up for the Division III Bantams (that's their nickname).

Cole enters this evening third in the nation in that division in points per game (1.93), based on his 10-17--27 totals in just 14 games. He's been ridiculously productive of late, going 5-5--10 during his team's current four-game winning streak.

Cole has racked points in six of the last seven games, with 6-11--17 totals in that span. His 1.21 assists per game rank tied for third in D-III.

Another D-III forward from Anchorage, St. Norbert sophomore Erik Cooper, is no slouch either. He owns 9-11--20 totals in 17 games for the squad that is ranked No. 2 in the nation.
