Calgary, AB (SportsNetwork.com) - Calgary Flames goaltender Karri Ramo will be sidelined until after the Olympic break with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee.

Ramo suffered the injury during the first period of Saturday's home game against the Minnesota Wild. Reto Berra finished the game in relief, and the Flames on Monday summoned goaltender Joni Ortio from Abbotsford of the American Hockey League.

Ortio has posted impressive AHL numbers, compiling a 19-5-0 record with a 2.08 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage in 25 games.

Ramo is 11-10-4 with a 2.66 GAA and a .908 save percentage this season, his first in the NHL since 2008-09 after a KHL stint.
