When and where you can see the Stanley Cup this week

Posted by DOYLE WOODY, adn.com on February 4, 2014

Evidently -- at least judging by the way people swoon over it -- the Stanley Cup is kind of a big deal.

The Cup will be in town later this week as part of the ECHL's Hockey Heritage Weekend, which includes a series between the Alaska Aces and Stockton Thunder, the induction of the ECHL's 2014 Hall of Fame Class and various cool objects from the Hockey Hall of Fame.

As far as the Stanley Cup goes, here's when and where you can see it, with a caveat:

Friday, Feb. 7

11 a.m. -- Sheraton Anchorage Hotel for ECHL Hockey Hall of Fame induction, which starts at noon. Be warned, you gotta have a ticket to the luncheon, and it is sold out.

6 p.m. -- At Sullivan Arena, for Aces-Thunder game.

Saturday, Feb. 8

Noon -- Sullivan Arena.

3:45-5:45 p.m. -- Crossbar Bar & Grill, 2830 C Street.

6 p.m. -- At Sullivan Arena, for Aces-Thunder game.
