Hey, good on Olivier Roy, the Alaska Aces goaltender who is up with the AHL's Abbotsford Heat.

Roy tonight made his first appearance for the Heat, getting the start and turning aside 25 shots in a 7-1 dismantling of the visiting Charlotte Checkers.

The win raised Roy's career record in the circuit one step below the NHL to 14-12-3.

He earned the promotion with his work for the Aces, for whom he's gone 13-7-0 with a 2.10 goals-against average, .922 save percentage and four shutouts.
