Anchorage's Bailey helps Penn St. earn 1st Big Ten win

Posted by DOYLE WOODY, on February 8, 2014

Winger Casey Bailey of Anchorage today scored a goal to help Penn State secure its first win in the Big Ten Conference.

Bailey's fifth goal of the season helped the Nittany Lions dispatch visiting Michigan, 4-0, and win its first conference game in the 10 it has played in the league's inaugural season.

More Alaska connections for Penn State -- former UAA center Eric Scheid furnished two assists, including the principal helper on Bailey's goal, and the Nittany Lions are coached by former UAF bench boss Guy Gadowsky.
