Aces re-sign goaltender Alex Kangas

With no clue how long Olivier Roy will be up with AHL Abbotsford, the Alaska Aces have re-signed goaltender Alex Kangas.

Kangas, 26, the former University of Minnesota backstop, was with the Aces earlier this season, going 0-1-2 with a 2.94 goals-against average and .864 save percentage.

Until the Aces signed Kangas, veteran Gerald Coleman, a runner-up for the ECHL Goaltender of the Week award, was the only Aces goalie under contract.
