"Jihad Jones and the Kalashnikov Babes" will have a pay-what-you-can sneak preview at 7 p.m. Thursday. The play, about an Arab-American actor who yearns for serious roles but is stuck with schtick-figure parts in bad B-movies, is being presented at Cyrano's with a cast that includes Bob Pond (acting, not directing), Kevin T. Bennett and Mark Iverson.

A gala is planned for opening night, Friday, which happens to be Valentine's Day, with a red carpet, chocolate and gourmet popcorn. Tickets for the show, which runs through March 9, are available at centertix.net
