Missing Anchorage woman found safe

Update, 4 p.m.: Linda Killbear of Anchorage was found unharmed Tuesday afternoon, according to a 3:45 p.m. Anchorage police statement.

Police are looking for a 60-year-old Anchorage woman missing since Monday morning.

Linda Killbear was last seen leaving her home in the Jewel Lake area in a silver 2010 Chevy Avalanche, said an email from Jennifer Castro, police spokeswoman.

Police described Killbear as 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 115 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Police said there are concerns for her health and well-being.

Anyone with information on Killbear should call police at 786-8900.
