UAF pounds host Michigan Tech again

UAF, fresh off a 7-3 dismantling of host Michigan Tech on Friday, just got done pounding hte Huskies again. The Nanooks won 7-2 in Houghton tonight to complete the series sweep, bag their fourth straight win and their sixth victory in the last seven games.

At the moment, UAF is in a four-way tie for third place in the WCHA with UAA and Bowling Green, which play in about 90 minutes, and Michigan Tech.

Nolan Huysmans went 1-3--4 today to give him 2-5--7 totals in the series and make him a front-runner for league Offensive Player of the Week.

Colton Beck furnished two goals and a helper, Tyler Morley had one goal and two assists, and the Nanooks chased Huskies goaltender Pheonix Copley of North Pole for the second straight night.
