Frostbite 5-K titles go to Moe, Kuiper

Jake Moe breezed to victory and Morgan Kuiper eked out a win Saturday in the 5-kilometer Frostbite Footrace.

Moe’s time of 16 minutes, 9 seconds was nearly two minutes faster than anyone else’s.

Morgan Kuiper topped the women in 20:44.2, four seconds ahead of Danielle Dalton’s 20:48.3.

The annual Fur Rondy race attracted 427 runners for the 5-K and another 97 for a 2.5-kilometer fun run.
