The 50th anniversary celebration in downtown Anchorage with a parade of residents from cities all across Alaska walking down F Street to the flame lighting ceremony and entertainers at multiple venues on Saturday January 3, 2009.

Saturday's statehood events included a march of delegates and a fireworks show.
