Police blotter, Unalaska Advertiser: "Missing Person - A young man who had watched far too many episodes of 'Deadliest Catch' tried his hand at fishing in the Bering Sea but was unable to work due to extreme seasickness. After the penniless youth was booted from his boat in the village of Atka, a passing couple took pity on him and agreed to give him a ride back to Unalaska on their small vessel. Days later and pounds lighter, the young man disembarked in Unalaska and was not heard from again by the couple. They were concerned for his well-being and reported his absence to the police. Officers determined the disenchanted youth had likely sold his laptop for a plane ticket out of our fair community."
