Tutka Bay crab pot catches a monster

Link: Peninsula Clarion Sea monster? Bill Coghill of Soldotna, his daughter Carolyn and their Homer friend Bill Nelson had no idea what the bottom-dwelling, 5-foot-long, pinkish, eel-like thing in their crab pot was and so handled it carefully before letting it go. A water taxi driver later set them straight: It was a giant wrymouth, found from Northern California to the Bering Sea but not usually as large as the one they caught off Kachemak Bay.
