Albino moose calf keeps Delta residents on lookout

Link: Fairbanks Daily News-Miner An albino moose calf is the talk of Delta Junction, and locals are in something of a competition to get a look at the elusive animal. White-phase and albino moose are not unheard of in Interior Alaska, biologists say. The calf's mother is normal-colored and doesn't seem to be overly protective, says Delta resident Kim Ipsen, who crept to within about 100 feet of the calf and snapped a photo. She thinks they like hanging out at her homestead because they feel at home among her horses.
