problem pike
The Department of Fish and Game pulled voracious Northern pike, above, from three Anchorage lakes or creeks last summer, and biologists suspected a "Johnny Pikeseed" eco-terrorist. The pike can ruin salmon or Dolly Varden fisheries and can eat smaller pike, voles, shrews, shorebirds, small ducks and muskrats. (Photo by Evan R. Steinhauser)
