KFAT goes to No. 1

Marvin Nugent, aka Doughboy, took to the air in late March on KFAT 92.9 FM. After the station went on the air in April 1999, its mix of hip-hop, rhythm and blues, and rap struck a chord with Anchorage's young and minority listeners.
