New use for sand

Bill Koch of Maui, Hawaii, practiced his form on the sandy Papokaku Beach on the island of Molokai in October. Koch, a four-time Olympian who won this country's lone medal in cross-country skiing, is convinced sand skiing is the best way to prepare for competition.
