Get ready Alaska, here comes yet another reality TV show. "Married to the Army: Alaska," filmed in state and based out of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, is gearing up for its premiere on Sunday night on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).
The show features seven women, ranging from Army-life first timers to seasoned home-front veterans, who've formed a "sisterhood" bond around the unique demands of the Army lifestyle.
According to Variety, the show has "Real Housewives-like elements," but is engaging without being voyeuristic. Variety writes:
Cable provider GCI says that "Married to the Army: Alaska" premieres Sunday night at 9 p.m AKST, but be sure to check your local listings for airtime variations.
