Era Alaska announces free beer on select in-state flights

Era Alaska has partnered with the Denali Brewing Company to offer complimentary in-flight beer samples on select flights during the month of June, in celebration of the return of summertime in Alaska, according to a press release sent out Tuesday.

The free beer samples will be offered on Era's Dash-8 route between Anchorage and Deadhorse (which stops in Fairbanks), and their Dash-8 route between Anchorage and Homer.

Denali Brewing Company's Single Engine Red will be the featured libation; the beer is "brewed with five choice American and European malts and just enough hops for balance," according to Denali Brewing Company . The beer was chosen as a "salute to Alaska's rich aviation history," according to the Era press release.

Denali Brewing Company is a locally-owned microbrewery in Talkeetna, established in 2009.

Era Alaska flies to over 100 communities throughout Alaska. In 2009, Era Aviation combined with Hageland Aviation and Frontier Flying Service to form Era Alaska.
