Sunday: Celebrate Native Heritage Month with free Anchorage Museum admission

Enjoy free admission to the Anchorage Museum Sunday in commemoration of Native American Heritage Month.

Events highlighted by the museum celebrate Alaska Native culture and tradition, and are to include local Alaskan food cooking demonstrations, drumming, dancing and "hands-on activities."

Museum admission will be free from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, thanks to a Wells Fargo sponsorship, and comes as part of the museum's Art Series, which includes an exhibition examining photojournalist Ruth Gruber, crafts and "ReadAlaska" events on Thanksgiving weekend, and much more, listed at the Anchorage Museum website.
