Early-morning 4.1 quake near Willow felt in Anchorage

A minor earthquake shook Southcentral Alaska early Thursday morning.

The Alaska Earthquake Center reported the 6:07 a.m. quake, centered 13 miles southwest of Willow at a depth of 35.7 miles, had a preliminary magnitude of 4.1.

The quake was felt in the Anchorage area, about 30 miles south of the epicenter.
