Anchorage woman killed in rollover crash near Seward

A 30-year-old Anchorage woman was killed when she was ejected from her truck north of Seward early Sunday morning, Alaska State Troopers said.

Troopers received a 911 call reporting a rollover at Mile 23.5 of the Seward Highway at 4:59 a.m., troopers said in an online dispatch Sunday.

Medics from the Bear Creek Volunteer Fire Department and troopers arrived to find the car's only occupant dead, "having been ejected from the vehicle," a 1997 Ford truck. The truck had rolled multiple times before going airborne and hitting trees, troopers said.

The woman has not yet been identified because authorities haven't yet been able to notify her family of her death, said troopers spokesman Tim DeSpain.
