Watch: Debating political correctness on America's college campuses

Has political correctness compromised free thought at America's college campuses?

That was the question debated Monday at the Bear Tooth Theatrepub in Anchorage, the latest part of the "Arguing Alaska" series presented by the University of Alaska Anchorage Seawolf Debate Program and Alaska Dispatch News.

Arguing that political correctness has compromised free thought at U.S. universities was Alaska state Sen. Mike Dunleavy and Paul Jenkins, editor of the Anchorage Daily Planet.

Arguing against was Dr. Diane Hirshberg, director of the Center for Alaska Education Policy Research, and Dr. Daniel Kline, director of the UAA Department of English.
