Sterling man arrested on child porn and sex abuse charges involving 'multiple victims'

A Sterling man faces dozens of criminal charges in connection with the sexual abuse of minors and the creation of child pornography involving "multiple victims," according to Alaska State Troopers.

According to a Thursday dispatch, troopers — along with the Alaska Bureau of Investigation and the Anchorage Police Department — served a search warrant Wednesday at the Sterling home of 55-year-old Bradley Elliott.

"Bradley was arrested and remanded at Wildwood Pre-Trial (Facility) in Kenai for over 20 sexual abuse of a minor-related charges stemming from multiple victims," troopers wrote.

Court records in the 37-count case show Elliott was charged with 12 second-degree counts of sexual abuse of a minor, nine counts of exploiting a minor to make various types of child pornography and two counts of distributing indecent material to minors. Elliott also faces single counts of possessing and distributing child pornography, indecent exposure and misconduct involving controlled substances.

Charging documents for another 10 counts listed in the case were still pending Thursday afternoon.
