Sister hat tricks carry Service soccer

Sisters Vonnie and Emily DesJarlais split six goals on senior night and Tricia Stonebreaker added the other two in a convincing 8-0 Service win over Bartlett on Tuesday in prep girls soccer.

Jamie Gorman and Bryn Winterberger shared time in net to record the shutout as Service moved to 9-4 in CIC play, 11-4 overall.

Wasilla 13, Houston 0

Randi Smith and Alex Firestack each scored two goals Tuesday as Wasilla rolled to a Northern Lights Conference home win.

Colony 3, Palmer 3

Jamie Krediet, Katie Gonski and Jessica Farrell each scored Tuesday for Colony in its tie with Valley rival Palmer.

Service 1, East 1

Kelly Bray's score five minutes in from Matt Weinstein helped Service to a Cook Inlet Conference tie Tuesday at Anchorage Football Stadium.

Colony 1, Palmer 0

Aaron Richardson's goal by penalty kick in the 58th minute was the difference as Colony edged host Palmer Tuesday in the Northern Lights Conference match.

Goalkeeper Jessie Krey got the shutout for Colony, which improved to 7-0-1.

South 3, Bartlett 0

Joel Hagg, Kenny Murphy and Jon Hall all found the net to help the Wolverines beat the Golden Bears on Tuesday remain unbeaten this season.

Goalkeeper Greg Jones notched the shutout for South (10-0-2).

Hagg scored on a corner kick from Spencer Augustin. Then Ryan Oba lofted a crossing pass to Murphy to make it 2-0. The final goal started with a give-and-go from Josh Carter to Jordan Bailly, who passed to Hall for the final goal.
