UAA heads north to defend Governor's Cup

The UAA hockey team goes for its third straight Governor's Cup title tonight at 6:07 p.m. in Fairbanks against rival UAF at the Carlson Center. Then the Seawolves (10-13-5) and Nanooks (15-11-6) head to Anchorage for Saturday's series finale at Sullivan Arena.

For the first time since the turn of the century, the Governor's Cup champion will be decided in two games. If the series ends in a tie, the title will be determined Saturday in Anchorage with a shootout.

UAA is 6-0-2 in its last eight games against UAF.
