UAA's Leah Wilson was named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Gymnast of the Week on Tuesday, following performances in two Seawolves home victories over Temple University. The sophomore from Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, earned consecutive career-high all-around scores of 38.525 on Friday and 38.700 on Sunday as UAA earned its first back-to-back home victory since 2006.
Wilson is the second UAA gymnast to earn the award this season, along with Lauren Agostino (Jan. 20).
UAA will compete today and Saturday at Ursinus (Pa.) and Rutgers (N.J.), respectively.
