Ginny Rosser hit a two-run home run in the second inning to lead East over South in a Cook Inlet Conference game Saturday at Albrecht Fields. Earlier, the T-birds earned a non-conference victory over Chugiak, defeating the Mustangs 14-3 in five innings.
Shaylie Wight-Crask was East's lone pitcher, giving up only two hits. Wight-Crask went 2 for 2 and scored a pair of runs.

Morgan Payovich's hit with the bases loaded scored two and helped Chugiak beat Dimond on Saturday.
