Anchorage's Zoe Hickel, 17, has been named to the 2009 USA women's under-18 hockey team, which will participate in a training camp Aug. 17-21 in Blaine, Minn.
Hickel was one of 23 players and 13 forwards selected for the team.
Following camp, the U.S. team will take on Canada in the 2009 Women's Under-18 Series from Aug. 24 to 27 in Calgary, Alberta.
