Max Treinen, nordic skier at UAA, and Holly Brooks, a 2010 Winter Olympian, ruled their respective fields at the 5-kilometer Race Judicata Sunday. Treinen, a West grad, finished 51 seconds ahead of runner-up Chris Seaman with a time of 17 minutes and 25 seconds over the out-and-back Coastal Trail course. Brooks was third overall and tops amongst women in 18:42.
The race, sponsored by the Young Lawyers Section of the Anchorage Bar Association, raises money for the Anchorage Youth Court.
