Abby Posma cracked a two-run, go-ahead single in the third inning and Yolanda Alailefaleulia belted a two-run triple in the fifth and followed it up by stealing home in Bartlett's 7-2 come-from-behind nonconference victory Friday over Homer. Homer led 2-0 after scoring a first-inning run on a fielders' choice and a second-inning run on a throwing error, but Posma's bases-loaded single sparked a four-run third for the Golden Bears.
It was the second loss of the day for Homer (5-3), a Northern Lights Conference team that held its own against the top two teams in the Cook Inlet Conference, taking an early lead against both Chugiak (7-0) and Bartlett (8-1).
