The Anchorage Glacier Pilots used a walk-off walk to beat the Fairbanks Goldpanners 5-4 in 11 innings at Mulcahy Stadium on Thursday.

With the bases loaded, Pilots' right fielder Trevor Hairgrove drew a walk from Goldpanner pitcher Simon Kudernatsch, and Ernesto Ortiz walked home.

Pilots' Paul Montalbano went 3 for 4 with a run. Hairgrove went 2 for 5 with 2 RBIs.

Derek Speigner earned the win, pitching the top of the 11th.

The Anchorage Bucs shut out the Peninsula Oilers 8-0 at Mulcahy Stadium on Thursday.

The Oilers struggled on offense, collecting two hits and had only one inning where more than three batters went to the plate.

Aaron Griffin won, pitching seven innings and striking out three.

Jake Sabol pitched five innings for the loss, giving up six hits.

The Mat-Su Miners blew out the Athletes in Action Fire 12-3 at Hermon Brothers Field in Palmer on Thursday night.

The Miners' David Lyon went 4 for 4 with six RBIs. Nick DeBiasse went 2 for 5 and scored twice.

The Fire collected eight hits, but ended the game with two runs and eight runners left on base.

Robert Benincasa won, pitching four innings, and striking out one.
