Sheryl Loan of Eagle River won the 50-54 age division in women's cross country at the USA Cycling Mountain Bike Nationals last week in Granby, Colo. Loan beat a field of five for her third national title.
Loan's daughter, Kinsey Loan, placed second in the girls 15-18 division. Kinsey, 17, made her first appearance in a national event.
