Bartlett 46, West 0

Bartlett quarterback Bobbi Britt carried 12 times for 120 yards and three touchdowns and completed 15 of 18 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Golden Bears to a 46-0 win over West at Dimond Alumni Field.

Britt rested the entire second half after helping Bartlett build a 32-0 lead at halftime.

Tiffani Pollard, who snagged six catches for 60 yards in the first half, took over at quarterback and ran for 80 yards on 10 carries in the second half. Pollard also threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to freshman Olivia Calloway in the third quarter.

Sharea Holley's 25-yard interception return in the fourth quarter completed the blowout.

"The football gods were smiling on us today," said Bartlett coach Steve Stansbury. "Everything went our way."

Britt scored Bartlett's first touchdown on a 19-yard touchdown run, giving the Golden Bears a 7-0 lead after one quarter.

Bartlett (10-6) blew things open in the second quarter when Britt scored on runs of 23 and 14 yards, then threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Pollard and another touchdown pass to Destiny Little just before the half ended. Little finished with three catches for 63 yards and two runs for 15 yards.

South 20, Chugiak 14

South's defense stifled Chugiak for most of a 20-14 win at Anchorage Football Stadium.

After Chugiak jumped to a 6-0 halftime lead, the Wolverines took a 7-6 lead early in the second half when Lauren Bassler scored on a 5-yard run and Riley Cole ran for an extra point.

South scored again on a 15-yard touchdown pass to Julie Stark from Heidi Pichler and made it 14-6 when Stark caught a pass for an extra point.

South scored its third straight touchdown after Bassler made a long catch-and-run to set up Pichler's short rushing touchdown.

Chugiak made it a one-touchdown game by scoring with three minutes left.

South's Bassler and Andrea Isby dominated the line of scrimmage defensively and Ellie Mathews made two key pass deflections in the fourth quarter.
