At 8,171 acres, Whistler and Blackcomb, located in British Columbia, form the largest single ski area in North America, with more than 200 trails, three glaciers, 38 lifts and 12 alpine bowls.

The town of Breckenridge is the largest historic district in Colorado. The resort boasts 155 trails served by 29 lifts and has the highest chairlift in North America.
