Dimond's Keiahnna Engel was selected to the all-tournament team and the Lynx girls basketball team won four out of five games in the Las Vegas Holiday Classic, a three-day tournament that concluded on Thursday and included 20 teams from California, Arizona and Nevada. Dimond began pool play with a 62-38 loss to Centennial High School, the host of the tournament, then rebounded for three convincing wins against Douglas High of Minden, Nev., Venice High of Venice Beach, Calif., and Santa Fe of Santa Fe Springs, Calif.
The Lynx closed the tournament with a 62-57 win over Dobson High of Mesa, Ariz.
