Dimond-West 3, Service-East 2 in girls hockey

Brittney Coleman scored two goals, including the third-period game-winner, to lift the Dimond-West girls hockey team to a 3-2 Cook Inlet Conference win over Service-East at Ben Boeke Arena on Tuesday.

Dimond-West took an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Marianna Kristiansen in the first period, then Service-East's Amy Brassard tied it at 1-1 with a goal nine seconds into the second period.

Coleman gave Dimond-West the lead when she scored her first goal with about two minutes left in the second period, but Kelsey Stanfill tied it at 2-2 with two seconds left in the period.

Dimond-West's Jessica Sims made 13 saves to earn the win.
