UAA qualifies 11 for NCAA ski championships

Highlighted by Lukas Ebner's victory in the men's 20-kilometer classical, UAA wrapped up the NCAA West Regional and Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association Championships in Utah by qualifying 11 skiers for next month's NCAA championships. The men's nordic team had a stellar outing on the cross country trails at Soldier Hollow, posting four top-10 finishes.

Ebner claimed his first collegiate win with a time of one hour, five minutes and 11.4 seconds, besting teammate Lasse Moelgaard-Nielsen, who was the runner-up in 1:06:06.1 for his first collegiate podium finish.

The Seawolves will be one skier short of a full team at the NCAA championships. They qualified the maximum number of three in men's and women's alpine and women's nordic and will send two in men's nordic.
