Chase Wilson's two-run double in the first inning gave Chugiak a lead it never relinquished Thursday in an 11-3 Cook Inlet Conference playoff victory over Bartlet at Mulcahy Stadium.
Chugiak built on its 2-0 lead throughout the seven-inning game. The Mustangs scored four in the sixth inning, getting an RBI triple from Kody Pataky and a two-run triple from Chris Dennis.
Bartlett scored all of its runs in the fourth off starting and winning pitcher Chase Gall. ,A single by Wynter Gross drove in two of the runs.
Gall struck out three before giving way to Gareth Sexton, who picked up a save to go along with two RBIs.
