A very Palin wedding at Hatcher Pass

Track Palin, the 22-year-old Iraq war veteran and oldest son of former Gov. Sarah Palin, has married his high school sweetheart, according to a tweet from the potential GOP presidential nominee and gossip columns across the country. Track married Britta Hanson, 21, in "a small ceremony ... in Hatcher Pass, Alaska, a site not too far from Wasilla and reportedly filled with family memories of skiing, snowmachining and more," according to People magazine as reported by the Los Angeles Times. The newest Palin will get a "larger celebration to look forward to come winter, when friends and family will be invited for a 'long ski weekend' to celebrate the union." A joint statement issued by the former first family of Alaska and their new in-laws said they "couldn't be happier!" According to the LA Times, Track plans to enroll at the University of Alaska after this year's commercial fishing season ends. Read more.
