Harmer moves into second in Seward

Tom Harmer caught a 19.02-pound silver salmon Thursday and took over second place in the Seward Silver Salmon Derby. Kenai's Phillip Lazenby remained in the lead with Sunday's 19.15-pound catch.

Three other anglers worked their way into the derby's top ten, led by Jason Westervelt's fifth place catch of 16.19 pounds. Heather Sumner and Guadalupe Rodriguez moved into seventh and eighth, respectively.

The derby ends Sunday at noon. First place wins $10,000, second place wins $5,000 and third wins a Holland America cruise for two.
