Palin on Hannity: No 2012 decision yet, maybe by November?

According to remarks made by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin on Sean Hannity's show Tuesday night, she still hasn't decided whether or not to launch a presidential run.

Palin thinks that President Obama is vulnerable, though, even suggesting he may begin facing a primary challenge from other Democrats, though there has been no indication that anyone but him will be the candidate. "By the way," Palin said, referring to the president's recent plan to address unemployment, "After that I think more and more Democrats are going to realize that if they want to retain the Democrat control of the White House, they're going to have to put somebody up in the primary against Obama. So, I think there's going to be changes on that side."

As for the other side of the aisle, Palin said that the current Republican field isn't set yet and that she is still one of the people still out there considering a run: "I think people are still going to be coming and going [in the primary] because there is still time. And I'm still one of those still considering the time factor and knowing Sean, how important it is that we get this country back on the right track."

Hannity asked her if that means a decision needs to be made by November, and she replied, "You do. I mean, legally, you do. Because you have to start getting your ducks lined up to have your name on these ballots."

The new timetable extends one Palin floated ambiguously in July, when she told Hannity, "Well, legally, of course, there are timeframes. And that -- that time is -- is -- it's coming rapidly in front of all of us. You know, August and September, you do have to start laying out a plan if you are to be one to throw your hat in the ring. So that -- that's basically the timeframe."
