Two first-period goals propelled Service to a 4-1 Cook Inlet Conference hockey win over East on Wednesday at Ben Boeke Arena. Aaron McInnis scored the Cougars' first goal and assisted Jeremy Smith on their second to build a 2-0 lead.
East's Alex Jackstadt put the puck in the net early in the second period to cut Service's lead to 2-1, but Greg Johnson and Chris Burbage each scored goals to help the Cougars pull away.
