South 11, Bartlett 0

Cameron Klatt scored three goals and three assists Thursday in South's 11-0 shutout of Bartlett in a Cook Inlet Conference boys hockey game at the McDonald Center.

Daniel Sandstrom pitched in with two goals and an assist and Lucas Nokelby added two goals to boost the Wolverines. All three scored in the first period to power South to a 4-0 lead after one period.

The Wolverines fired 50 shots at a pair of Bartlett goaltenders, while South's Ben Simpson needed to make just five saves to notch the shutout.

Dimond-West 3, Mat-Su 0

Stephanie Vandenbos, Leandra Murray and Marianne Kristiansen scored goals -- with Murray's coming with her team short-handed -- to carry Dimond-West to a 3-0 victory Thursday over Mat-Su in girls hockey action at Ben Boeke Ice Arena.

Goaltender Taylor Sebring stopped all nine Mat-Su shots for the shutout.
