Jordan Lane, a young Junior 2 skier, led the Alaskans with a 20th-place overall finish Sunday in a giant slalom at the Wild West Classic in Jackson, Wyo. She placed in an impressive fourth in her age group. Kevin Kelly, a Junior 1 racer, led the men by placing 31st.
In a Saturday giant slalom, Kelley and Gabrielle Markel led the Alaskans.
The races are qualifiers for the national championships and the Junior 2 national championships.
